Emerging from COVID-19

As community sport begins to emerge from the pandemic, the national insurance program is still in place to cover insured parties for their activities.* However, one of the policy conditions of the Liability Policy is that insureds and their employees must: Comply with all statutory regulations and public authority requirements.  So, all clubs and coaches MUST follow the government directives in making any decision about resuming tennis activities.

The initial resumption of community and individual sport will be governed by public health policy and Federal, State/Territory Government directives.  Each State/Territory may permit the resumption of sport at different times and all clubs, associations and coaches must follow these directives.

All clubs, coaches and associations must ensure that any proposed activities are undertaken consistent with the applicable guidance.  Please be mindful of the fact that there could be geographical variability even within a State/Territory.
