Donna Weber

Senior Vice President

CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Donna is responsible for client and product management, development and marketing of the Green Island Reinsurance Treaty. Green Island is a Casualty reinsurance pool with approximately $650 million in annual premium volume. Other responsibilities include the development and marketing of new captive related product solutions for clients.
 
From 2004 to 2008, Donna was the head of Marsh’s Captive Management office in New York which provides management services to captive insurance companies domiciled in New York state including accounting and financial reporting, regulatory compliance and insurance programme administration.

Donna sits on the Board of Directors for several captive insurance companies domiciled in New York.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Marsh in late 1999, Donna spent the majority of her career working in the risk management field at Fidelity Investments. In her most recent role as Corporate Risk Manager, Donna specialised in the development and implementation of alternative risk financing products tailored to address a variety of risk issues in the financial services industry. These product solutions include the use of captives, alternative risk financing arrangements and financial guarantee products. In this role, Donna was responsible for oversight of three captive insurance companies.
   
She has been a speaker at several national RIMS conferences and Captive conferences.

EDUCATION

Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bryant University in Rhode Island and a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College in Massachusetts.
