Chief Legal Counsel, Pacific
Ellen has held the position of Chief Legal Counsel for the Pacific since 2009. She is also a member of Mercer’s Pacific Leadership Team and in that role is responsible for the Legal function for Mercer in Australia and New Zealand.
Ellen also acts as a Company Secretary for Mercer’s Australian companies, and has been with Mercer since 2003 in both functional and client-facing legal roles. With over 30 years’ experience in the superannuation industry (both in legal and commercial roles), Ellen is uniquely positioned to understand the strategic direction of the business. She places a strong emphasis on the provision of holistic but cost-effective solutions orientated legal advice aimed at achieving positive business outcomes while limiting business and regulatory risk.
